Feeling slow or scared is a diagnostic, not a personality trait. It means a bad system which is equivalent of missing at least the one of two things: a decision framework, automatable steps. Fix the system, and the speed follows — in work, in life, across the board.
But that logic has a hard boundary.
Systems consume existing territory. They optimize known terrain. Creative work, by definition, is the act of generating terrain that did not previously exist — which means there is no SOP to write, no automation to deploy.
Confusing the two modes is the expensive mistake. Applying systems thinking to creative work kills it. Refusing systems thinking everywhere else is just romanticized inefficiency.
